Photography to me is an opportunity to capture moments and scenes hard to describe and to speak without saying a word.

While I enjoy photographing many things, nature and animals remain a big focus for me. I have a deep love of nature and grew up around dogs, chickens, rabbits, horses and wildly overgrown gardens. Albury Wodonga and the beautiful surrounding landscape offers no shortage of beautiful natural scenery and animal life.

It was after I moved to the Albury Wodonga region that I decided to pursue an interest in photography and enrolled with Wodonga TAFE. I can honestly say that my time there was amazing. I learnt a huge amount, connected with other passionate photography students and left inspired to follow a career in photography. Whilst there, I developed my particular interest in animal photography and ended up focusing my portfolio project on one of my favourite creatures, the loyal dog.

Companion animals remain a big interest of mine. The love and joy these companions bring is surely worth celebrating and I hope to accomplish that with my photos.
