Bronwyn Berg

I am a visual artist born and raised in Sydney. I spent 13 years on Norfolk Island and lived in various places before settling into the Riverina in 2014.

I am both self-taught and have studied in various art forms including portraiture, abstract, illustration and various mediums. My art journey has always given me a grounding and sense of purpose, as well as being a survival mechanism.

Looking ahead, my interests lie in further development of hyperreal, installation work and study of the human form.

Residing in Holbrook, I am a volunteer in my community. Along with art, music has also been a passion of mine, which I present a radio show on a Friday evening playing electronic dance music.

I hope my work will be able to inspire others.

What people say

It is perhaps the greatest piss-take of the rich, the powerful and the ugly since the late Barry Humphries brought us the alcoholic and wonderful Sir Les Patterson, with the 2026 Bald Archy Prize attracting a record 70 entries this year.

Not surprisingly, it’s mainly politicians who are targets and who receive the most scathing treatment.

Bronwyn Berg brings a new meaning to the term “seats of power” with her porcelain bench line-up of Anthony Albanese, Barnaby Joyce, Pauline Hanson and Sussan Ley in adjoining stalls.

  1. ‘She has encapsulated the inner workings of four of Australia’s most topical politicians in her entry’

Chelsea Wilson – Border Mail
