Federation Shire highlights include Corowa’s community Art Space exhibiting ‘The Corowa Collection’ and the long-running Federation Art & Photography Prizes, an active library network serving towns and a mobile service, and Lake Urana Nature Reserve’s wetlands and birdlife.
Greater Hume
Greater Hume Shire features the Jindera Pioneer Museum, Henty’s Headlie Taylor Header Museum and public sculpture, a four-branch library network (Culcairn, Henty, Holbrook, Jindera), and Burrumbuttock’s Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre with creative science-art programs.
Towong Shire
Towong Shire celebrates regional culture through Corryong’s Man from Snowy River Museum, the refurbished Corryong Memorial Hall for performances and exhibitions, and public libraries in Tallangatta and Corryong supporting programs and author talks.
Indigo Shire
Indigo Shire’s cultural scene spans Beechworth’s Burke Museum, volunteer-led Arts Yackandandah and the Yack Station Arts Hub of working studios and workshops, the Chiltern Athenaeum Museum, and the family-friendly Yackandandah Folk Festival.

Wodonga showcases Hyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery’s exhibitions, The Cube Wodonga performing arts centre for touring and local shows, and Gateway Village with HotHouse Theatre and galleries beside the Murray River.
