Jo-Anne Swain

I am a professional spinner and slow fashion creator.
Portraits are painted by making my own professional paints from pigments.
A recent medium I have come back to is Pen and Ink Illustration. These have been featured in a number of International Art Books (by Jury Selection). My drawings and spinning have been the subject of online interviews with my drawings also being chosen for exhibitions both international online and physical, as a finalist.

My paintings have been sold nationally and internationally as have my slow fashion and yarn.

My past milestones have been to achieve “Highly Commended” in the Goulburn art prize and selling my complex weaving to the National Museum in Canberra.
