Submissions

Wodonga council welcomes the submission of expressions of interest, and interested parties are encouraged to phone the council’s Community and Facilities Property Officer on 0481 916 334 to discuss their proposal.

Expressions of interest submitted must address the preferences contained within this document and should address the key selection criteria. Submissions will be assessed on the key selection criteria utilising the nominated weightings.

Key Selection Criteria

1. Business Overview – 25 per cent

1a. Provide a summary of the proposed business, including the types of activities you intend to undertake.

1b. Outline your vision for the business and include any evidence of demand for your product or service.

2. Contribution to Gateway Village – 50 per cent

2a. Demonstrate how the business will attract significant additional visitation to the village.

2b. Explain how the business will complement existing Gateway Village businesses and enhance overall vibrancy and marketability of the precinct.

2c. Describe how the business will provide a new or unique offering that diversifies the visitor experience.

3. Operational Readiness – 10 per cent

3a. Provide an estimated timeline for opening the business.

3b. Supply a detailed list of required fit‑out actions, including associated costs.

4. Business Capability – 15 per cent

4a. Provide evidence of financial capacity (supported by documentation).

4b. Include annual reports (if applicable) or references.

4c. Demonstrate your experience and capability in operating a business.

Expressions of Interest Details

Interested parties are invited to submit their Expression of Interest by 5pm on Monday, July 20, 2026.
