Expression of Interest – MFSR Art & Photography 2026

The Man from Snowy River Bush Festival invites artists, photographers, sculptors, and storytellers to take part in the 2026 Art & Photography Exhibition and Elyne Mitchell Photo Story Awards.

Next year’s theme, Legends of the High Country, celebrates the people, places and stories that have shaped Australia’s mountain heritage — from Banjo Paterson’s “Man from Snowy River” and Elyne Mitchell’s beloved brumbies to the unsung heroes who lived, worked and forged new paths across the hills and ranges.

This is your chance to showcase work inspired by our landscape, its legends and the spirit of the High Country. Whether you paint, sculpt, photograph or write, we want to see your interpretation of what makes the mountains legendary — real or imagined.

Theme: Legends of the High Country
Festival Dates: 16 – 19 April 2026
Location: Corryong, Victoria
