Ephemeral Art Program EOI

CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – CLOSING Wednesday, May 20, 2026

Wodonga Council’s Ephemeral Art Program (2026-2027) aims to create inspiring temporary public art that supports community identity and increases cultural vibrancy.

Creating the unexpected is the key objective.

The council is calling on artists to express their interest for inclusion in various short-term art projects within the 2026-2027 financial year. This is a great opportunity for artists to show their work in high visibility spaces and places. These ephemeral art projects include:

1. Artwork for display in Wodonga’s Open Galleries (The Cube Wodonga and WAVES lightboxes);
2. Mural art installation for The Cube Wodonga box office internal wall;
3. Amplify Creative Projects; and,
4. Projection onto the cantilever windows of Hyphen – Wodonga Library Gallery.

Please note: Artists may apply for more than one of the above opportunities.
