Expression of Interest: Wamarra Music Lab (First Nations-led)

MusicNSW invites Expressions of Interest from First Nations music business leaders for Wamarra Music Lab – a five-day, First Nations-led incubator strengthening First Nations music enterprises while maintaining cultural integrity and community-centred practice.

What it is
A culturally safe, immersive program in Sydney (Gadigal) delivering workshops, masterclasses, mentoring and peer reflection across:

• Branding & storytelling

• Marketing & audience growth

• Financial planning

• Legal protection & IP

• Innovation & strategic growth

The full program will be provided to selected participants in early 2026.

Who should apply
First Nations people leading or co-leading a music business anywhere in Australia (e.g. labels, management, events, studios, services, collectives).

When & where

• Residency: 04/05/2026 – 08/05/2026 (AEST), Sydney/Gadigal
